Goons responded to this by announcing that they were taking ownership of all moons in north and west low-sec. ![]() So they announced a set of changes that was going to cause a shift in the valuable regions of null-sec and how the resources in low-sec and null-sec were going to be allocated. Their problem was that CCP (the makers of EVE) bestirred themselves from a long nap and noticed that while they were asleep, daily average log-ins had dropped from a average of 35,000 per day in early 2014 to an average of 20,000 per day in late 2015. They were untouchable, and unfortunately, they knew it. They were in complete control of EVE's entire north and west, were using the southwest and south as rental/farming grounds, and their diplomacy arched around the entire map. World War Bee short version: in late 2015, the null-sec coalition Imperium (Goonswarm plus its allies, renters, and hangers-on) was riding high. ![]()
